The inaugural event, Milonga La Frida, was held at Zentweg 17A, attracting a small but enthusiastic crowd eager to embrace the tango culture. This initial gathering set the stage for a series of events that would soon flourish in both attendance and reputation.

As the series progressed, Basis 2 + evolved significantly, expanding its offerings and attracting a diverse audience. The introduction of Milonga Luna Negra, alongside Milonga La Frida, allowed for a variety of experiences, from traditional milongas to special themed events. The series quickly gained traction, with attendees enjoying not only social dancing but also workshops led by renowned tango instructors. By 2025, the event had transformed into a regional highlight, featuring guest DJs and performers from around the world, further enriching the local tango scene.

Notable editions of the series include the Luna Negra Long Tango Weekend in 2025, which featured workshops and performances by the talented duo Yael Nahir and Francisco Coria from Buenos Aires. This event marked a significant milestone, showcasing the series' commitment to providing high-quality tango experiences. The Luna Negra Festival, held in late 2025, brought together esteemed teachers such as Lorena Tarantino and Gianpiero Galdi, solidifying the event's status as a key player in the international tango community.

Despite its rapid growth, the series faced challenges, including the need to adapt to changing circumstances and the ongoing impact of global events.
